I use Pepp on my old Lenovo T400 which has moved from being my daily driver for casual everyday tasks to my workshop in the basement. The thing was getting slow with regular distros and I wanted a more lightweight desktop. The new main role of the machine is to show youtube instruction videos and to review (my own) plans and drawings in the workshop. With Peppermint you can integrate Web applications more directly into the desktop by configuring "site specific browsers" that work similar to a web-kiosk with that one WebApp and can be started from the menu like any desktop app. I use that for youtube and TinkerCAD at the moment.

A fast and stable OS that stop me from distro-hopping! A great work from the (late) Mark Greaves and his team.

Easy installation! Easy user interface! Works on most hardware (everyone I tried anyway)! Peppermint Linux IS really: "A lightning fast, lightweight Linux based OS, that is secure, stable and fully customizable.", which I will gladly recommend anyone to try out! Enjoy! :-)

I have been trying out several Linux distros on my Lenovo laptop to see how much I would like it compared to win10. After 8 months and a few SSD's of Linux OS's, I am very happy with Peppermint 10. It loads very quick and handles my daily tasks with ease. I plan on making this my primary laptop OS. I am also working on a project in Haiti and have been looking for light weight distro(s) that will run on a variety of older laptops. Peppermint seems to work very well on the older machines compared to a few other light weight distros I've tried. I will be using this as a primary OS for my projects. The live USB works great for a test run and the installation process is easy to follow.

I have been a Peppermint user since discovering Peppermint 5, which was my second distro in my entry into Linux. Peppermint has been my desktop of choice, running it on a high powered desktop and a laptop. Everything I install it on works. I have it on another laptop that runs Family photos using Variety Wallpaper Changer. The team behind Peppermint is awesome and always available to help. I can't say enough about Mark Greaves and his team. Peppermint is made up of parts from different Linux distros. The combination makes for an awesome desktop. There are more distros coming out that are using this philosophy. To coin a phrase from a fellow Pepperminter, "It just works!" Give the Pepp a try.

I've been using Peppermint since the days of Peppermint 7 and throughout the years have installed Peppermint on many desktop and laptop computers OOTB and it always has worked well. The Peppermint forum is excellent for getting solutions for any problems that may occur and for me I've had very minor problems that were quickly solved. Peppermint Linux is an excellent choice for all users and I recommend it.

I'm not very expert at linux problem solving, so the fact that Peppermint just works is terrific! The user forum at Peppermint is also the best I have found for any linux distribution.

My first ever Linux OS. Started with Peppermint 8 and immediately liked it. Easy to install, quick, stable and does all I need. Currently using Peppermint 10.
